Ken's referring to a script I'm developing which tries to generate a
summary of the threads on this mailing list for the upcoming Community
News show notes.

This reply changes the Subject line but, since I used the "Reply to
list" function in Icedove, should not break the threading. Neither does
top posting (since I'm not parsing the contents).

What *does* break threads is replying to Digest messages, but that's
largely because mail clients don't understand such messages properly I
guess.

Oh dear, have I just thrown down a challenge? :-)
